Remote Weapon Station RWS Uprava – Kord

RWS Uprava – Kord is a gyro – stabilized, automated control complex for machine guns on any mobile carrier or stationary positions.

RWS Components

  • Gyro – stabilized optical – electronic module (GEOM) including optical – Tasks covered by RWS electronic channels for target detection, acquisition and auto – tracking;
  • Combat module (CM) including a base (barbette), a guided platform with mobile gun attachment frame, gyro unit and TV sight.
  • Data output and interface unit; Video monitor, main control panel with a joystick, additional control panel for GEOM can be supplied on request.

Tasks Covered By RWS

  • Semi – automatic detection and acquisition of air, above – water and surface targets; Semi – automatic and automatic tracking of detected targets (SAT and AT); Software – aided data generation for firing operations taking into account carrier and target movement, bullet flight trajectory, prohibited shooting sectors;
  • Semi – automatic shooting with one of the following machine guns: ]] Large – caliber 12.7 mm machine gun Kord; ]] Large – caliber 14.5 mm Vladimirov tank machine gun (VTMG) and others;
  • Fire correction in case of miss – fire and sight correction for warning fire;
  • Semi – automatic recharge;
  • Calculation of spent and remaining shots.
